I am in no shape or form a data loving lady, however in order to work with you, I need to keep certain information about you. This privacy notice is to let you know what data I hold and how I use it, in accordance with new data protection regulations. When you use this website I collect this information and I retain your email enquiries. This includes questions, queries or feedback you leave, including your email address (if you send an email to us), your IP address, and details of which version of web browser you use, and information on how you use the site. This helps us to improve the site by monitoring how you use it, respond to any feedback you send me, provide you with information about consultancy services or workshops if you want it and ensures that you are able to access lightly resources. You’ll always be told when this information is being collected, and it will only be used for the purpose you provide it for. I can’t personally identify you using your data.

KEEPING YOUR DATA SECURE
What data do I collect, how do I use it and when may I share it with others?
I keep a note of your name and contact details on paper in a locked filing box and on a list of clients in a password-protected document on my computer.
I use these details to contact you where necessary to arrange sessions. I also keep outline aide-memoire notes of our work on paper in a locked filing box and in a password-protected document on my computer.
I refer to these notes to track the progress of our work together. I never share your information with any other organisations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes, and I don’t pass on your details to other websites. Payment transactions are always processed securely via a third party like PayPal and no card details are stored at any point on this servers.

HOW LONG DO I KEEP YOUR DATA?
My insurers require me to keep your data until seven years after we stop working together. At that point I will securely delete electronic data, and shred and securely dispose of anything on paper.

You have the right:

– to obtain a copy of your personal data
– to have inaccurate personal data rectified, or completed if it is incomplete
You may have a right to request restrictions on how I use your data, and/or to to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances. You are entitled to raise with me any concerns about how I deal with your information, and if then necessary, to raise your concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
